Below you will find the specifications your picture and audio need to comply with in order to ensure the best possible connection to Cinemeta’s equipment and infrastructure.
Delivery specifications sound:
A Protools session with all audio files used. If you want to make sure that all your plugins work, we advise you to bring along your Ilok with all licences. At the bottom of this page you will find a list of all standard plugins Cinemeta uses.
An AAF export from your editing package with separate audio files. Do not export video in the AAF. Video files are to be submitted separately, see the caption below.
If you have software that does not support AAF, but can export OMF, than please submit an OMF. Beware that an OMF file must not exceed 2GB or it cannot be used. To avoid this problem export an OMF with every track or every two tracks. Use 2 second handles in exporting.
Delivery specifications video:
Please deliver your video files as Quicktime files (.mov)
As codec we prefer ProResLT or one of the other ProRes codecs. If you have DNxHD or MP4 as video file we will format the image to ProRes; this is going to take some time however.
Resolution of the video file, preferably 1920x1080 square pixels. Other resolutions will be scaled to 1920x1080 and, again, formatting will take considerable time.
Ideally, the Quicktime film also features an audio export to compare with the submitted AAF or OMF
