M&E Track (Music & Effects)
An M&E track is a sound mix of a film ( i.e. complete ambient noise – anything you can see on screen minus dialogue) which enables us to dub a film in a foreign language. All the original dialogue is removed from the audio track in order to be dubbed by (voice) actors of any given language.
Making an M&E requires a lot of experience. In the film extract on this page you will hear the M&E track with matching picture of a production that has been made ready for dubbing. At Cinemeta we have several audio engineers with ample international experience.
Our highly-equipped mixing studios for Dolby 5.1 and 7.1 are perfect for making M&E tracks after a film’s final mix.
