Visual effects

Visual Effects is the process by which imagery is created or manipulated outside the content of a live action shot in film making. Visual Effects integrates live-action footage with generated imagery to create a realistic environment that cannot ordinarily happen in real life, or is too expensive to actually realise on film.

Although most visual effects work is completed during post-production, it usually must be carefully planned and choreographed in pre-production and production. Most commonly known is the green or blue screen in which the background is later replaced by a separately filmed background or computer-generated imagery which is inserted into the scene.

Short lines of communication

For the VFX (Special Effects) of our feature film we have very successfully worked together with Cinemeta. Especially their short lines of communication and the advantage of just having one contact appealed to me. These are crucial factors in the complex business of creating motion picture special effects. Moreover, Cinemeta is a quick and innovative player and their expertise is sky-high, so what’s not to like? Flexibility, quality and a perfect product!
